Private aviation is driven by time. Users of business jets pay a premium for their air-travel to buy back time. Despite the excellent use of technology in most other industries, booking a private jet can still take hours or even days. We have allowed this industry to slip behind in time efficiency and convenience. We must change. We must be able to provide customers with instant and accurate quotes for their travel needs. We must exceed the level of service provided for commercial flights if we are to compete with them. Technology, used properly, will revolutionise the customer experience and play a major role in significantly reducing the unsustainable level of inefficiencies that currently exist in private aviation.
The Solution
The solution is Stratajet’s proprietary pricing engine. It has taken our team of expert computer scientists two years to develop the most comprehensive and sophisticated algorithms ever seen within our industry. The result is a pricing engine capable of calculating the cost of a flight between any two airfields, in any aircraft, at any time of day, 365 days a year with penny-perfect precision. We have reduced a process that can take days to something that takes seconds. The pricing engine represents a core component of Stratajet. It normalises all of the disparate moving parts related to pricing within the industry, and enables Stratajet to provide customers the instant quotes. Armed with the technology, Stratajet is able to fill the gaps in the industry and create an efficient market.

The private aviation industry has yet to take advantage of the internet revolution, the world of e-commerce and real-time selling and, as such, is struggling to reach its full potential. To survive, and to grow again, we have to change.
