Our CEO and founder Jonathan Nicol, is an ex-fighter pilot-turned computer scientist-turned commercial pilot-turned entrepreneur who, frustrated by the archaic and inefficient state of the modern private jet business, decided to do something about it.

Realising that 40% of private flights are flown empty, he spent 5 years developing the unique technology that enabled him to start Stratajet and address the lack of accessibility, transparency and cost-effectiveness he saw as private aviation’s biggest drawbacks.

It is, and always has been, to change the way people travel by making the world’s supply of private jets even more accessible while still maintaining private flying, whether for business or personal needs, as the ultimate way to cross continents.

Above and beyond this, it’s Stratajet’s goal to make it happen as effortlessly, seamlessly and simply as possible.
