Stratajet
The executive aviation and air taxi market has been very slow to incorporate the new technologies that have developed in other sectors to iron out inefficiencies. The industry is therefore well overdue an injection of innovative tools to streamline day-to-day processes and enable companies to better meet the demands of an increasingly technology-driven fast-paced world. The idea behind Stratajet was conceived in order to tackle this problem, offering a suite of tools for aircraft operators, to drastically reduce the workload of their Ops Departments and ultimately to improve the quality of service for customers. The key layers of the software series are:

Jonathan Nicol
Founder and Managing Director
Jonny began his aviation career as a pilot, initially with the RAF and later with the Army. In 2004 during a 12 month sabbatical from military service he set up his first company, Promotional Staff UK. In 2007 he set up two further companies: Oxford Computer Information Systems (Oxcis), which supplied the MoD with a new data management system for personnel records and performance; and Oxcis Aviation, which services two distinct business areas: operating an aircraft-ferrying service specialising in deliveries to the Middle East; and manages an air display team (EFADT) which runs corporate flying days around the UK. He successfully exited Oxcis in 2010. Combining his knowledge of the aviation industry and expertise in building data management systems, Jonny has moved Oxcis Aviation's primary business today towards development of Stratajet.
Olivia Scarlett
Client Service Director
Olivia graduated from the University of Leeds with a Double Honours degree in French and Italian. She then went on to gain an MPhil in European languages at the University of Cambridge. After her studies, she completed placements at two international business press agencies, and then worked as a Project Coordinator at Paris-based communications group, Focus Reports, coordinating the research, compilation and financing of reports on strategic economic sectors, specialising in the energy industry. She gained two years of international sales and marketing experience with extended assignments in France, Italy, Germany, Russia, Brazil, and the Netherlands, adding Russian and Portuguese to her linguistic repertoire. In March 2011 Olivia returned to London to join Oxcis Aviation Ltd; she leads the business development and client service aspects of StrataJet and played an instrumental role in setting up StrataJet’s European operations.
Paul Robinson
Tech Director
Paul has over a decade of experience in delivering complex technology solutions to clients and employers across the globe in both the private and public sectors.
A graduate of UMIST (Software Engineering), the start of his career was a tangent into systems administration at a company that grew to be one of Europe's largest ISPs. He switched back to his first love of software development in 2001, and in 2006 he created his own consultancy helping numerous start-ups who faced technical challenges.
Bitten by the start-up bug, in 2010 he started to look for a full-time role at director level within a startup. In 2011 he joined Oxcis Aviation, where he has taken the lead on delivering our Stratajet software.
Thomas Brightwell
Non-executive Director
Tom read Chemistry at Oxford, and after graduating worked as a consultant for Accenture. After the confines of the corporate world became too much he joined a web development agency specialising in applications for government. He went on to do the business analysis for HMRC's Pay As You Earn online, and then programme managed Self Assessment Online. The startup world then lured him away to Hamburg, taking a position as technical lead and product manager for Qype. Tom's day job is now the product director at Rated People although in his Stratajet capacity he works providing both technical and investment guidance. In December 2010 he joined Jonny in the pub and started Stratajet.
