At Stratajet, your safety and peace of mind are of the utmost importance to us. We undertake ongoing stringent due diligence and audits on all of our partner charter operators in order to ensure aircraft, pilots and crew meet the Stratajet Standard.
In order to work with Stratajet, operators must firstly meet the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements to possess a current AOC. In order to obtain one, the CAA continuously reviews the operator’s operations manual and audits multiple aspects of their business including:
- Management
- Organisational competence
- Crew training
- Aircraft maintenance
- Flight planning
We see the standards and legislation set by regulating bodies as a bare minimum, so we use the power and accuracy of our technology to support human knowledge, experience and discretion to ensure that your safety and privacy always comes first. Stratajet’s compliance engine crosschecks numerous factors when searching for results to match a customer’s request to ensure a flight is completely safe, all of the time. It verifies that:
- The operator’s AOC permits them to operate at the proposed airfields
- The runway width can accommodate the aircraft if there is a cross wind
- The runway surface is suitable for aircraft
- At the proposed time of travel, the airfield has the appropriate fire coverage for the aircraft
- The passenger, cargo, crew and fuel weight is well within the limits of the aircraft
- Runway length is suitable for aircraft to take-off and land at (considering operational weight)
- Crew duty times fall well within regulations
In addition to these measures, we actively monitor real-time weather at every step between take-off and landing in order to make sure that both the aircraft and crew are equipped to operate. If weather patterns look as if they may change we consult all involved parties to reach an appropriate and safe alternative for our passengers.
