Access to closer airports
While it seems you can fly just about anywhere nowadays, the reality is that private jets can access ten times more airfields than commercial airlines. This means that there is no need for long airport transfers, as there is most definitely another airport closer to your final destination.
This is convenient when you are heading to more remote regions in the mountains, such as the French Alps. Most airlines fly into Lyon, whilst a private jet can land closer to most popular ski resorts at Chambéry Airport. You then have the option to take a helicopter from the airport and head direct to the slopes.
Save time
When you fly privately, you avoid the busy airports and the hassle associated with flying commercially. There is no need to arrive at the airport hours before your flight or wait around in long queues.
Weather is always a variable during the winter time and smaller regional airports are capable of resuming operations immediately after a storm passes, resulting in less delays for private flyers.
More choice
On Stratajet, we offer a range of different size and type jets to suit your requirements. When you fly private you have the opportunity to choose an aircraft to suit your needs.
Through our platform you also have the opportunity to select your prefered FBO. This allows you to customise your journey to suit you, this is not always possible with an airline.
Extra Luggage
Whilst airlines have limited baggage capacity per passenger, private flights have much more room for baggage. This is ideal for ski holidays in particular, as you can easily transport all your equipment with no hassles.
Once you arrive the FBO will be able to assist with the transportation of luggage and you do not have to worry about any damage.
