Beginning on September 28th the 26th Monaco Yacht Show is set to provide a 4-day superyacht celebration, with over 34,000 participants gathering from around the globe to view 580 exhibitors filling the 20,000 square metre exhibition space. Monaco’s iconic Port Hercules has been home to the show since 1991, and with this year’s many developments and additions 2016 looks like it will be the most impressive show yet.
Bringing together yacht owners, future owners and the leaders of the luxury yacht industry, this year will see 125 of the world’s finest yachts ready to be discovered, with forty making their world debut. The day before the show opens to the public, September 27th sees both the third Superyacht Awards, with trophies awarded to some of the most spectacular superyachts, as well as the VIP Monaco Yacht Summit arranged by show organisers for just 50 prominent guests.

At the Upper Deck Lounge, plan your day ahead, enjoy a break for lunch, and enjoy the champagne bar as you take in the sun setting over the Mediterranean before heading on board to join in various exhibitor events in the evening.
This year’s show promises to offer more than ever before, with the addition of a brand new Car Deck, featuring the finest motor vehicles in the world from Lamborghini, Roll-Royce and Tesla. Enjoy a test drive through the heart of Monte Carlo and check out the many vehicles on offer for sale. Key vehicles to watch out for are Lamborghini’s Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder, the Rolls-Royce Dawn and Tesla’s Model S P90D which promises to wow with its speed performance.
For visitors looking to charter or purchase a superyacht the show’s bespoke Sapphire Experience is not to be missed. Launched in 2014, and with only 100 experiences available, private clients will surely have an unforgettable time at what is already a very special show.
With three helicopter lines provided between Monaco and Nice airport (and Cannes and Saint-Tropez business terminals) getting to and from the show will be seamless. A new app for this year will also help with access and travel plans to the exhibitors and yachts that are of interest, with a network of routes open between the various quays as well as courtesy cars on land and a golf cart service which proved popular last year.
